A magical sprinter among climbing plants! In just one season, this robust plant covers fences, trellises, balcony railings, or pergolas, creating a romantic, flower-rich backdrop in no time—and, incidentally, a pretty privacy screen. It easily climbs to heights of up to 3 meters. Its large, funnel-shaped flowers – usually blue-violet, but occasionally pink or light blue – open in the morning and close again in the evening. Even inconspicuous corners are transformed into a true floral paradise. A sunny location is rewarded with a tireless sea of blooms. It also thrives in pots (at least 30 cm in diameter). Important: Not to be confused with the annoying field bindweed or hedge bindweed!

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS

You can start morning glory indoors from March/April or sow it directly outdoors from May onwards. Soak the seeds overnight in warm water beforehand. The soil should be loose and nutrient-rich; a sunny spot is ideal. Keep the soil evenly moist, and the first seedlings will appear after one to two weeks.

As soon as the young plants are strong enough, they need a climbing aid.
