Benfica is a queen among winter flowers. Its deep, dark red, velvety flowers, which appear almost black, unfold their full splendor especially in soft candlelight and bring festive elegance to your home. Easy to care for. Planting tip: Plant the bulb only halfway into the potting soil. Water sparingly at first and avoid waterlogging. Only when the flowers and leaves appear does the plant need more water. Do not pour water directly onto the bulbs, leaves, or flowers. Vase tip: If you want to cut them for a vase, wrap the stem at the cut end with adhesive tape. Alternatively, you can also place the bulb in a vase, but only allow water to touch the roots.

Was lange wert ....

Schön aussehende Zwiebel, aber ziert sich noch, neben der anderen Amaryllis. Es zeigen Blattspitzen von gerade mal 2 cm. Sie haben alle den gleichen Platz aber wartet noch bis Weihnachten. Ich dir eine schöne Adventzeit.

Rasend schnell

Ich bin total begeistert! Ich habe die Zwiebel sofort nach Erhalt eingepflanzt und jetzt sind die Blütenstiele schon 10 cm lang! Ich freu mich auf die Blüten!

Alles fein

Im Wettbewerb zwischen Doublet und Benfica ist die wunderbar dunkle Sorte etwas hinten dran, treibt aber brav aus. Gärtnern und Geduld fängt mit dem gleichen Buchstaben an, wissen wir doch alle. Freue mich schon auf die Blüten.

Was für eine Knolle

Hallöchen, leider kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, da ich sie am Wochenende erst verschenkt habe und nun abwarten muss. Meine steht auf der Fensterbank und ich warte ungeduldig auf ein erwachen.
